Gwyliau Rhydolion Holidays offers four beautifully designed 5 Star luxury self catering accommodations set in the most spectacular location to access the whole of Llyn Peninsula delights and beyond – a great escape from your busy lives. Situated just over half a mile from Porth Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth) beach popular with surfers and body boarders and only two and a half miles from the watersports haven at Abersoch.

The complex of these renovation cottages each have three bedrooms, three cottages sleeping up to 7 each and one sleeping 6 which are all well executed with four poster beds and spa baths, en-suites, WI-FI, modern comforts, indoor games room and kids play area, wheel chair access and open fire in two cottages, each with patio, barbeque and garden furniture. We can arrange an outside caterer for any function or whilst staying here why not try an activity holiday of canyoning, abseiling, coasteering, rock climing, canoeing and more.

It’s understandable that few things beat a long walk on a stretch of shoreline or a costal path, surf, or beach activities knowing you have a cosy base to return to. Short breaks November to April and minimum weekly bookings all year or May to September.

Y ‘Sgubor, which translated means the Barn, is where the straw and feed were stored for the past 250 years ago, recently restored to a luxurious accommodation sleeping 7 in three bedrooms. This stunning accommodation has been carefully restored and as much of the original features as possible left visible.

The front access and rear to this cottage is level and suitable for the less mobile including wheel chair. It opens directly into a spacious open plan lounge / dining / kitchen area. Part of the original slate flagstone floor has been re-laid in the kitchen / dining area and some walls have been retained as exposed stone, all adding to the warmth and character of the accommodation. Its large front opening is now fully glazed and gives wonderful views of the countryside and a spacious airy atmosphere to the cottage The ground floor has the benefit of under floor heating.

The kitchen is fully equipped with high quality appliances and a comprehensive range of cutlery and glasses. The five star quality is continued in the lounge area.

Large comfortable leather sofas, soft cushions all add to the home from home ambience. There is a new plasma TV wall mounted, DVD, CD/radio. WIFI connection available - please bring your own computer. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom suitable for a wheelchair user. It has an adjacent en-suite bathroom with a shower and handrails near the WC and wash hand basin. We can supply a choice of a shower chair on wheels or swivel for the less mobile.

A large double back door leads out onto a patio area with garden furniture, barbecue and ideal for admiring the views or to simply sit and relax with a glass of wine in the evening

A beautiful staircase, crafted by a local carpenter, leads up to a gallery style first floor area with two bedrooms that has a pitched ceiling and two velux windows that afford a wonderful view of the countryside. One bedroom has an antique double bed with canopy and en-suite, the second bedroom with three single cream iron bedsteads. The main bathroom is also on this floor with Jaquzzi.

The first floor of this 19th century barn conversion gives it’s translated name the ‘barley store loft’ which was originally accessed by the external stone steps to the rear. Here the grain was stored in different compartment. Now these original sections with pitched ceilings have been beautifully restored to be an open plan living area with wealth of pine beams separating the kitchen/ dinning and seating area.

There is a new plasma TV wall mounted, DVD, CD/radio. From here there is a door leading out to the new external flight of steps down to the patio and garden area, which has beautiful countryside views. The main bathroom is also adjacent to the living area with a Jacuzzi for relaxing and unwinding.

The accommodation sleeps 7 in 3 bedrooms. On the first floor is the largest bedroom comprising of a magnificent four poster bed and a child single bed with another twin and double bedroom on the ground floor.

Both double bedrooms have en-suites. Some original stonewalls and character has also been restored in the bedrooms. The main entrance is on the ground floor near the bedrooms that has an outside patio with seating area. For warmth the downstairs bedrooms has under floor heating while upstairs has oil filled radiators and a wall mounted electric fire.

This is a pet free property and pets are not allowed to stay under any circumstances. 

Hoewal is a lovely sturdy old building thoughtfully converted, equipped and attractively furnished.

Having gone through life variously as a shelter for horse carriages and a wash house, Hoewal is now an attractive bedroomed ground floor cottage, equipped to accommodate up to 6 persons.

The spacious sitting room/diner is traditionally furnished with beams and an inglenook fireplace which enables warmth from an open fire or electric fire. Colour tv and video.

The kitchen has an electric cooker and kettle, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, iron and board.

One double bedroom has a separate shower room, toilet and washbasin, with an attractive four poster bed. The others are a twin bedroom and a double bedroom.

The main bathroom which has a Jacuzzi is near these bedrooms.

Barbecue facilities and garden furniture are provided for use on the patio which faces the countryside.

The 16th Century Farmhouse Wing provides accommodation for 7 persons and cot, with an interesting blend of country antiques and modern comforts.

All three bedrooms have double brass and iron beds, one being a four poster bed and twin beds in one double room. Bathroom has an Air Bath and separate toilet.

The kitchen is modern compact and fully equipped with fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, electric cooker and kettle, toaster, iron and board.

A patio leading out from the kitchen has barbecue facilities and garden furniture.

The sitting room/diner has an "olde worlde" charm of original oak beams and open or electric fire in an inglenook fireplace, with colour tv and video.
